'One to Watch' - Moviescope Magazine, It's a Wrap Magazine

After two years juggling a job in communications with training in Method acting, Valmike enrolled full-time at Central School of Speech and Drama. Whilst training, he appeared in his first two feature films, 'Jen' and 'Right Hand Drive', distributed by Porchlight Entertainment - nominated BEST FEATURE UK, British Film Festival, L.A.

After graduating with distinction Valmike performed in sell out shows of 'Collision', at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Roxy theatre, 2007. His first green screen project 'Get to Know Me', shot at Lars Von Trier's Zentropa studios, Denmark was officially selected for the Copenhagen Film Festival and a number of other festivals around the world.

Valmike played the lead, a suicidal manic depressive alongside BAFTA nominee Saeed Jaffrey in 'Open Secrets' which won BEST FILM at the Buffalo-San film festival. The film enjoyed a week long run on both Sky and Virgin channels. He also shot 'Hotel' which won BEST DRAMA at the L.A. International Short Film Festival, alongside Danny Webb (Valkyrie) where he plays an assassin and son of BAFTA nominee, Art Malik. 'Hotel' was one of ten films shortlisted for Oscar consideration at the Academy Awards 2010.

His film 'Daisy's Last Stand' won Film London's Best Of Boroughs Audience Award. Malachi, shot in conjunction with the BBC and Skillset won the Skillset Millenium Award. He made his first TV lead appearance in 'Read My Lips’ for Channel 4 which was highlighted in the Sunday Times Culture, ‘Pick of the Week’.
